This is the website of the Magnette Register, part of the MG Car Club. Registers were originally established simply to maintain a record of the known cars produced for each model of MG since Cecil Kimber started the company in 1924. They now do much more to help preserve the cars and their history, and organise events for owners. You'll find a lot of information here, whether you just want to know more about the Magnette or are maintaining or restoring one

There's a report from Luis Benito on the International Concours held near Mexico City recently, where he exhibited both of his Magnettes.  Also if you're intending to come to the 70th Anniversary weekend 19-21 May, please register as soon as possible using the form on this page, otherwise we may not be able to book meals for you (note that the Sunday lunch stop has been changed to the George Hotel at Dorchester on Thames)

There's a report on the recent Magnettes & Steam event at the Avon Valley Railway. Also, please complete an application form for the Magnette 70th anniversary weekend as soon as possible, if you're intending to come, so that meals etc can be booked

We'd be grateful to have completed forms and payment as soon as possible so that food etc can be confirmed. If you've previously registered your interest you'll receive the booking form and further updates

There's now a draft programme of events for 2023, although many details are still to be confirmed. Please note the planned weekend 20/21 May to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Z Magnette launch. This will be the weekend before the first MG 100 event at Gaydon and it would be great to have participation of Magnette enthusiasts from outside the UK
